




Club 21's driving motivation is to see individuals with Down syndrome fully included in the world around them. In order to accomplish this vision Club 21 has developed programs appropriate for varied age groups. A brief summary is included below. Join other parents in a caring community that helps families thrive by getting the encouragement
and resources they need.
- Weekly Open Play Groups welcome parents of babies birth to 3 and monthly groups for children 3 to 6 years of age
- Peer Social Events for children with Down syndrome, siblings, and friends
- Sibling Support Groups - Sibshops
- Individual Parent Consultations with Family Support Liaisons to help connect parents to other families, community resources, and Individual Educational Program (IEP) support.
Celebrate those first milestones together!
- Parent-Child Play Groups facilitate language and communication while developing fine and gross motor skills
Fostering the development of foundational skills essential to every child’s academic and social
development in one of the passions of Club 21.
- Every Child a Reader provides one-on-one literacy tutoring
- Club Connections builds additional skills through:

o small communication groups

o social skills classes

o assistive technology and computer literacy classes

o enrichment programs including field trips, art, dance, music, martial arts, and

other activities
Club 21 connects parents and teachers to the resources necessary to make inclusion successful.
- The Mod Pod- An educational resource center equipped with the tools and technology needed to modify classroom curriculum appropriately matched to each child’s needs and abilities
- Outreach Facilitators- Individuals dedicated to providing school and classroom consultations, Down syndrome Awareness Presentations, and inclusion support for educators and professionals.
Club 21 also provides current and practical information to families and educators
- Down syndrome Age-Specific and Topic-Centered Workshops
- Annual Tools For the Journey Conference
