what will we offer?
our services
Club 21 will offer to families, teachers and the community: information,
programs and professional services needed to assist them in helping
children with Down syndrome reach their potential.
every child a reader
This program aspires to graduate a generation of capable readers with
Down syndrome, who in turn will be more independent and confident
in their daily lives. Club 21 will provide reading tutoring to students
with Down syndrome. We will use a variety of educational mediums
to respond to individual learning styles.
community outreach and inclusion facilitators
An important goal is a resource center and a website that provides the knowledge,
tools and technology to support curriculum adaptation in the inclusive classroom.
Club 21 Inclusion Facilitators will be available to local area schools to support teaching
teams with resource materials, techniques and strategies. School consults provide
support to teachers and families which will effect a child's success.
